Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is Gorgeous Paws insured to walk and look after the dogs?
A: Yes, Gorgeous Paws is insured to professionally walk and look after dogs. Our insurance also covers us for public liability, day care, loss of keys and boarding.
Q: What can I do if I want my dog to try out the day care centre?
A: Call or email us, we aim to contact all or clients within 24 hours. Gules will then arrange to meet you and your dog, where you can discuss your dog's requirements and ask her any questions that you might have, provide us with information about your pet, vet and emergency contact details. We would then arrange a free trial day, after which we will give you honest feedback. We believe in providing a quality service, your dog's safety and happiness is fundamental to us.
Q: Do you only take well-trained dogs?
A: No, we love all dogs. All dogs that are in our care, benefit from basic training. Many owners have noticed improvements in their dog's behaviour since they've been in our care. One thing we are very strict with is that all the dogs that come to us are non-dog aggressive. Dogs are social animals and we work hard to ensure a balanced pack. Your dog's safety and happiness is fundamental to us.
Q: Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?
No, Gorgeous Paws can keep your keys safe, should you wish us to. All keys are always kept in a safe place and we never write your address down on your key. We are insured, but in the unlikely event that your key was lost we will happily replace your locks. We are all CRB checked.
Q: Can I visit the Gorgeous Paws Day Care Centre?
A: Yes, please call us and we will schedule an appointment for you.
Q: How do you transport the dogs around?
A: Our doggies are picked up in our Citroen Berlingo Van, they sit comfortably in our seats and are safely secured with doggie seat belts.
Q: What happens in an emergency?
A: We call you immediately to discuss the situation. If we can't get hold of you and urgent medical attention is required we will take your pet to the nearest veterinary practice. |
